MARCH 20, 2024--NEED VOLUNTEERS TO BE ON THE WELCOMING COMMITTEE-CONTACT THE SITE OFFICE IF INTERESTED.

March 19, 2024—Residents of JRMA Solera has informed that they are having a yard sale on  April 06, 2024   Hours from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.  ALSO Solera will be having another yard sale on November 02, 2024 (time not stipulated yet)  Being as Solera is going to leave the Jess Ranch Parkway Gates open if JRMA Residents (which includes CBN and BH) want to have their yard sale on these dates they may do so.

03-18-2024  Need to remind Homeowners:.  Homeowners please do not just trim off tree limbs from trees-this kills the tree-trees need to be properly trimmed also if a Homeowner wants to remove a tree the HO NEEDS to first obtain ACC Approval before the tree is removed.

03-15-2024  Need Volunteers to be on the "DISTRICT DELEGATE COMMITTEE".

03-06-2024:   "C.D.R.=Community Disaster Response-Is the most important Committee that a person could be on in Jess Ranch Master Association (which includes Brookhollow and Cedarbrook North Associations).   If you are interested in being on this committee please contact Nanci Edwards 1-760-247-7610 (or there is a sheet in the site office waiting room in which you can place your name to volunteer to be on the C.D.R. committee).  Also if a resident has a need to borrow "Durable Equipment" (i.e. Wheel chairs, walkers, bed side comodes, etc) Please contact Sally Sparks 1-760-953-8768.

03-06-2024:  03-06-2024—As Residents already know if you are having a problem with your vehicle transponders please call the JRMA site office (1-760-961-1456) to make an appointment for correction---If your transponder is damaged (been pulled or the black eye of the transponder has turned white or has a bubble you will need to purchase a new transponder-Cost is $20.00).  The Transponder for correction would need to be the transponder on record for your vehicle that is on your security form (Some residents had purchased a vehicle that already had a transponder that previously belonged to another resident—These transponders were deprogrammed when the resident moved out and are not reprogrammed-In those cases you would need to purchase a transponder).   The Appointments for Transponders are made for Wednesdays and Friday Mornings—Those Mornings I do Transponders ONLY by APPOINTMENT (you would need to bring in the site office your I.D. and your vehicle registration.  When you call the site office at 1-760-961-1456 to make your transponder appointment:   PLEASE be sure to leave your name, Make/Model of your vehicle and decal # on your vehicle  AND MOST IMPORTANTLY LEAVE YOUR  telephone number so that I can call you back-Make sure your “Voice Mail is not Full” or is set up (Many times I try to call a person back and their voice mail is full or is not set up).   Now Speaking of your vehicles---In the transponders I have corrected—When at looked at your vehicle which is the vehicle you have on record-BUT MANY TIMES THE VEHICLE YOU HAD ON RECORD HAD THE TEMPORARY LICENSE PLATE AND YOU HAVE OBTAINED A NEW LICENSE PLATE OR A HANDICAPPED LICENSE PLATE—This I had to correct in the License Plate reader for the back gate (Gate #2 reads your license plates to get into the community—So while you are here “Let’ check your license plate also “ to make sure it is correct).    So residents even if you are not having problems with your transponder coming into gate #1—If you are having an issue coming into gate #2—PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT so that this can be corrected.

March 01, 2024:  The next JRMA HOA Meeting is MARCH 26th, 2024 AT THE MARIPOSA LODGE AT 1 P.M.

February 20, 2024:  The Guards are no longer signing in food deliveries-as they have due to COVID hitting.   When you order your food make sure to give them your directory code so that the delivery person can use the directory code to ring to your phone and you would push 99 to let them in.   Now granted there have been residents that state they cannot hear their phone ring--If you are one of those residents-than the day you are expecting delivery from a company call the guard and make a reservation for that particular company-than the guard can sign them in.

February 05, 2024:    There have been a lot of citations due to residents and their visitors parking sideways in resident driveways (which is not allowed).   Note your JRMA Rules page 4    #2 in which all vehicles on garage aprons must be parked straight in, at a ninety degree angle to the plane of the garage door.    Also note page 2 of these rules #20 in which the garages need to be maintained readily available for parking. Also note your CC&Rs page 41 read the parking rules section 13.

February 05, 2024   REMINDER to Residents:   If you are expecting someone be sure to give your visitor your Directory Code so that the visitor puts in your directory code at the call box which rings to your (residents) phone and the resident punches 99 on the phone that opens up the gates.    Now if you are expecting someone and do not believe you can hear the phone to hit the 99 Residents can call the morning that they are expecting someone either gate #1        [1-760-899-5208] or gate #2 [1-760-777-3434] doesn't matter which gate they call because gate #1 and #2 pass the information to each other (because do not necessarily know which gate that the visitor will come through)--Keep in mind though that deliveries with big trucks and towing trailers need to go through gate #2.

01-08-2024 Received an email from a Homeowner on Pine Way he informed that coyotes have been sighted well inside the community....If you have small dogs/pets DO NOT LEAVE THEM IN THE PATIO ALONE--These coyotes are hungry.

12-06-2023  Please Residents--A Cat is a pet (CC & Rs one Pet per house-hold and pets outside need to be on a leash--Cat would need to be on a leash with the resident holding the leash--Cat is a pet)---There is one Resident that is really cute she has a cat that she actually walks in a stroller and I am surprised the cat does not jump out--the cat actually likes to be walked in a stroller (only put this in because it was cute to see).....Anyway I received an email from a resident regarding a cat using her yard as a litter box-she is not happy with that and asked me to send out a notice to homeowners-"Someone’s cat has been roaming around for a few weeks and is using my backyard for its litter box. The cat has a collar.  … I don’t want my yard to smell like a litter box and it is difficult for me to keep it clean. It is very frustrating. If I wanted the responsibility of taking care of a pet, I would have my own. Can you send a email or put something in the newsletter asking residents to keep their cats inside please? Thank you in advance for your help with this situation." So putting on the newsflash that residents would you please not allow your cat to run around the community.  I THANK-YOU very much in advance.

10-03-2023  Residents are being formally informed that any Statues on Wrought Iron fences/gates/block walls that are NOT FASTENED DOWN and they fall during common area maintenance/due to winds and get damaged is on the resident living in the home---It is Your responsibility to make sure items stay on your property and not fall from your property....As you know California is prone to tremors/earthquakes, and even landscaping movements can cause items to fall--Therefore, anything you have on block walls/fencing/gates is your responsibility to make sure that they are fastened down to where they do not fall---Keep in mind there are landscapers that weed the common area planter areas--If one of your statues or items from your property fall on them and injure them could make you liable

September 26, 2023 Homeowners/Residents be aware that you should be obtaining your picture I.D. Gate card if you have not already obtained it; because the JRMA Board is looking into the possibility of the picture gate card to not only give access into the community but also to the amenities.

September 22, 2023:  FYI-most residents are aware that they need to ask who is at the directory prior to hitting the 99 to let a visitor in--because some people come to the gate and just hit random four digit numbers in hopes someone will hit the 99 without asking who they are and that does happen.....You want to ask who it is to make sure that it is the visitor you want in.     Even if you are expecting someone--because the person you do not want in may do the four digit code prior to the person you want in.   For everyone's safety "Please Ask Who the Visitor is-PRIOR to hitting the "99" to open the gate.

09-07-2023:  A Homeowner has informed me that her front license plate was stolen....She reported it to the Police and the Police told her that this theft is on the rise.       So this email is just alerting you of this so you can keep an eye on your license plate.    The resident that informed me stated that she had to have her license plate changed because of this theft....This is something else that the HOA residents need to be on the alert for--So notice your vehicle when you go places-observe to make sure your license plate is still there and report to police immediately if it turns up missing.

09-06-2023 at the ACC meeting it was clarified:   Being as most of the JRMA Homes in Jess Ranch Master Association were built in the late 80s and 90s it is very hard to obtain the original house number tiles.   Some residents have already gone through the ACC Committee and have changed out their house number tiles; this being the case-House number replacements is technically a maintenance thing-Therefore, if you need to replace the house address numbers and IF there is someone in your district that has the house number tile style-Homeowners can change their house numbers to that type of tile style without ACC Approval due to it really qualifies as maintenance.   If no one in your district has the address tile style than you should go through the ACC Committee with an ACC Submittal because it would be a change outside the home.

*July 26, 2022--It is still being reported that Coyotes are coming into the community--Please be careful when walking your dogs and DO NOT LEAVE SMALL DOGS UNATTENDED IN YOUR PATIO AREA. Also it has been reported that some residents are feeding the coyotes--PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE COYOTES OR ANY STRAYS OF ANY KIND do not want to encourage them to come around in the community.     Also it has been noted that some residents are allowing their dog to do their job in other homeowner yards--Please DO NOT ALLOW YOUR DOG TO USE OTHER RESIDENT YARDS AS RESTROOMS-You may walk your dog in the common areas and be sure to clean up after your dog--There are Doggy-Stations in various areas of JRMA.

*10-15-2021: MEALS ON WHEELS 15075 Hesperia Rd, Victorville, CA 92395 · ~7.3 mi (760) 245-7047 *As of 01-12-2022 Site Office has been informed that there is a company called "High Desert Second Chance which has program called: Emergency Food Pantry USDA Food Distribution; Open Market Food Distribution; No food goes to waste High Desert Food Collaborative--Debra Ann Peterson Ambassador, 16666 Smoke Tree Street B #4, Hesperia, CA 92345 Mobile: 1-760-403-6888 office: 1-442-267-4444---This may be something for residents to check out.

*07-28-2021: ATTENTION RESIDENTS: gate #1 the Directory telephone number is 1-760-646-9300 The Directory telephone number at gate #2 is: 1-760-961-1596 Please put these numbers in your contact list-listing them as Gate 1 and Gate 2 because some phones don't recognize the numbers and will go to your voice mail & some residents do not hit the 99 to let their visitor in because they don't recognize the phone number and they block the number.

*07-27-2021-FROM Lordon Mgmt: 5 Steps for HVAC Maintenance Anyone Can Easily Complete : A quality HVAC system can make winters comfortable and summers bearable no matter where you live. But maintaining your cooling and heating system can seem like a complex process. In reality, however, DIY HVAC maintenance can be pulled off by most handy homeowners. So, if you want to save on maintenance costs around your home, start with these basic steps (presented today by the Jess Ranch Master Homeowners Association) to keep your home’s heating and air conditioning system operating smoothly all year round. Set Reminders to Change Your Filters One of the most essential maintenance tasks that will keep your HVAC system efficient is also one of the simplest. Yet all too many people fail to change their home’s air filters on a consistent schedule. Depending on your lifestyle and location, you may need to change your filters more or less often. Three weeks is the threshold if you have multiple pets, but you may be able to go a few months if you rarely use your A/C. When you do change your filters, you want to be sure to choose new filters that properly fit your unit. Ensure Your Unit Is Properly Leveled As you walk around the outside of your home, you should do a quick check of your HVAC unit. You want to be sure that your unit is free of debris, but you also should double-check that your equipment is completely level. HVAC systems need to be on level ground to work properly, so use the appropriate tools to confirm that yours is on solid ground. You may need to purchase a quality leveler to be sure that your system is good to go. If you find that yours is sinking, you will need to take the proper leveling steps to get things back on track again.Thoroughly Clean Coils as Needed Just because your HVAC system is level does not mean the maintenance is over. For your system to continue to work properly, you also need to have clean coils. It sounds like a complicated process, but you can complete this task easily on your own. Use a screwdriver to open the panel and then remove any larger bits of debris with your hand or a brush. Make sure you have a garden hose that will reach your HVAC unit, and also a versatile nozzle before you begin. Spraying your unit down is the easiest way to clean dirt off coils and really get into those tiny grooves and spaces. Remember to Power Down Before Servicing Before you start changing or cleaning any part of your home air conditioning system, you need to make sure the power is turned off. To change your filters, simply shutting off the thermostat will suffice. But if you plan on doing any major maintenance or cleaning, you should go one step further and completely shut off the power supply to your HVAC unit. Most homes are equipped with breakers that make this step easy, but you may need to turn off power to your entire home to be sure. Failing to do so could lead to a serious shock, which can cause injury or death.Know When You Need to Call HVAC Experts: Most people can at least safely change out their filters. But if you feel uncomfortable performing any of the tasks on this list, then you may be better looking online and finding a reliable local pro. HVAC specialists can perform any maintenance tasks you are not up to completing on your own, but they should always be called for any major repairs as well. The price of your service call will hinge on the type of work provided. But paying for a pro upfront is much better that having to replace your entire system due to a DIY mistake. And besides, if you plan to sell your home at any point, an HVAC system that’s well-maintained and serviced regularly could do wonders when it’s time to appraise the value of your home. So, even if it costs a little up front, you could save yourself a lot of money down the road. Proper maintenance of your HVAC system can save you money, no matter whether you DIY or call in the professionals. So before each season begins, make sure you take care of any maintenance or repairs needed so you can stay cozy in your home. --------------------------------------------------------------------------
